Had arthroscopic elbow surgery. Less than a year later developed same symptoms. Had a follow on, more invasive surgery in San Diego. I had gotten a skin bacterial infection in my elbow from the arthroscopic tools. Evidently not a sterile procedure. Edit: 5 September 2021: I received a reply today from the supposed owner. I will give Dr Hickey a Five-Star, but be warned that their billing practices and desire to help you with billing is well below a 1-star. We were told, after our doctor's appointment, with Dr Hickey, that they would only file our primary insurance and would not file any billing to our secondary insurance, which was Tricare. They would not even provide us with an accurate bill invoice to submit, until almost a year after and only after telling them we were sending this to Tricare and our Congressional Representative for revie... read more
I had hand surgery due to carpal tunnel issues and Dr. Hickey was very personal and attentive. The surgery was successful with no complications.

Dr.Hickey performed surgery on one of my shoulders a few years ago. I was very happy with the results and have been pain free. I recommended him to others..but my only disappointment is that when I tried to make an appointment to have him look at the other shoulder, that was evaluated prior and more than likely needed surgery as well, never received a call back after leaving numerous messages. It was a while after the fire, and they were probably in transistion, but a call back would have been nice.
