G.P. Derr was thorough and professional. They did a great job repainting our cabinets, which now look brand new, and were extremely careful in prepping the job to avoid having paint in any unwanted areas. We highly recommend them.
We hired this couple to paint our cabinets, which are 12 years old. I wish that I could say that I could recommend GP Derr, but I can't. My cabinets have a residual dust all over them and no longer feel smooth. I was told that they would have to be sanded and painted again and he was unwilling to do that. The sanding job was really bad and I have had to touch up all over due to missing paint and drips. Overspray was an issue too with walls and countertops and floors. For cabinet painting, we require only 10% down to start the job and the balance is due at the end of the job, after the customer has had ample time to inspect the quality of the work and the job site for any issues. They did a great job refinishing my oak kitchen cabinets.
They were easy to work with and cleaned up after job was completed but becasue high powered paint spray was used and they had a plastic drop cloth closing off the area the remainder of the kitchen floor had some fine spray paint on it
