I was seeing Dr Ottey for the first time for a shoulder injection. I declined getting an MRI (last was 6 yrs ago on that shoulder) because I had had multiple lumbar MRI's and back surgery and didn't feel like I was ready to embark on more surgeries. His skin prep for the injection was good. I have never had a shoulder injection hurt that much, and it stayed very painful for 36 hours! The shoulder is better now than before the shot, but I don't want to go through that again!
