Dr Shurnis is great! However, it’s really hard to get an appointment in a timely manner, unless you’ve got an urgent need for one. I’ll keep going to Advanced Dermatology because of Dr Shurnis.
Love LOVE LOVE Dr. Shurnas and the assistants they are caring, knowledgable and the absolute best. The billing is a disaster and needs to be figured out. I have spent so much wasted time trying to rectify a bill from 2023 so I could get an appointment! It should not be this hard.
The PA's there are awesome! BUT if your insurance covers preventative care, and you go to Advance Dermatology for a skin screening (which I considered preventative), they'll refuse to code that as "preventative" and will only code is as an "office visit," which then in my case required a copay. A skin screening really seems like a preventative visit.
