I am 73 and have been cared for by Dr. Newman over the course of several years. I keep returning because I find him to be thorough, understanding and professional. His staff is always friendly and helpful. That is what I expect from my doctors.

I called to schedule an appointment. The receptionist was pretty rude. At first I brushed it off and figured she may be having a bad day. I told her I don't have a co-pay. She told me I would have to provide documentation confirming that. I asked her shouldn't they call the insurance company to verify that and she said they don't do that, that it's my responsibility to provide that information.
