When I went for a skin cancer check-up, I found out that this location has been holding on to money that they over-charged me from years ago. Had I not gone in for another appointment, this location (Decatur) would not have ever given me back my money. Can you imagine if you owed a Dr. money for that long? Certainly I would have been in collections, yet they felt it was fine to hold on to my money for YEARS. I made an appt more than 3 months ago (in August). I received both text and email confirmation of my appts the week prior to my appt (this was for Dr Hanson), with the last ones being the Friday before my Monday AM appt (at 3:25 PM on Friday). When I arrived on time (9:42 AM b/c I'm a new patient) for my 10 AM appt on 11/22, they told me that my appt had been cancelled. I called to make an appointment to see a dermatologist because I was breaking out in really bad hives. They told me since I’m a new patient, it would have to be a telehealth appointment. I agreed because I needed to see someone ASAP. I was also told to take pictures so I could upload the visit. I met with Amanda Saunders. It was a joke. The appointment lasted less than 20 min.
