The new facility is very nice. Staff is rude at times or just acts as if you are a bother to them. Expect long waiting times once you are in a room and then except to be rushed through your appointment. You will often get the PA (physician assistant) instead of a doctor. I had psoriasis and I asked the PA if this was an autoimmune disorder. She said "no -it is NOT" and handed me a brochure. The first line of the brochure said psoriasis is an autoimmune disorder.
I have used this practice a couple of time and the drs are great. Support staff kind of rude and snooty
I have bounced back and forth with this practice due to insurance issues, and I will agree with the previous post, the office staff (not all of them) act as if you are bothering them. Sometimes you just stand and wait, as they chit-chat. I would think this would improve over time, but apparently the doctors dont see this as an issue or it would have been corrected a long time ago. I have been a long time patient of Dermatology Associates. I believe I have been a patient there for about ten years now. The front/back desk staff tend to be a bit rude or act as if they are doing you some huge favor. My father ran a business for over forty years and he taught us at a very young age to always smile and be very attentive---so of course I expect the same when I am the patron and not the employee! I like Dr. Zavell a lot---but I think some of her desk help "has to go."
