I don’t know where these people are coming from other than to degrade a GREAT doctor. Three years ago I had an annual check up by a dermatologist in another state, I indicated an area I was concerned about and was told no concerns. I moved to Pawleys Island, SC a few months later an the area still bothered me and was growing. I went to Dr. Masessa and he took a biopsy. The biopsy came back as cancerous. He removed two spots that I was concerned about because I was worried they might be malignant. Both excisions became infected and left scars and the report came back as benign freckles. I felt he unnecessarily removed these spots only for monetary gain. My current dermatologist explained that he should have known they were just freckles.

Waste of time and money. Doctors won't treat your issue, they just charge you $100 for each follow up visit they have you come in for with out ever addressing the issue. Save yourself the hassle and go to a proper dermatologist.
