Unless you know 100% you need a knee replacement, don't go here. This doctor needs to practice some compassion and perhaps leave his ego outside the door before seeing patients. Also, beyond offering cortisone shots, what other alternatives are there for pain? Supplements, ointments, braces, etc? And maybe do some pre-charting before an appointment? I felt so disrespected here. And chose to travel over an hour to see this doctor. Never again.....
Dr Johnson is an excellent surgeon but has little tolerance when your pain is still lingering after 2 weeks. He needs better bedside manners or hire someone else to help navigate the patient experience.
This is the best run doctor’s office I have dealt with. Everyone is pleasant and everything worked out. Yay!
My experiences at the Bone and Joint Center have all been great! The staff is kind, competent and committed to making everything easy and understandable. Dr. Johnson is a superb surgeon; his skill and talent have seen me through three joint replacements, and I’m able to walk comfortably and confidently because of his care.
