My appointment with Dr. Johnson was quick and informative. He was very professional and explained my situation and the possible things to help with my discomfort.
Anesthesia was good. Nursing care was good. Surgeon had several procedures that day and was feeling time pressure. Had to have a second surgery for a torn quadriceps tendon. No idea when or how that occurred. Outcome turned out OK.
My supplemental review to response from WeCare@AdventHealth.com Dr. Johnson misdiagnosed my left knee injury. He stated he did not agree with my previous doctor opinion that I need a full knee replacement until he (Dr. Johnson) performed left knee orthoscopic surgery. He denied me an MRI that eventually disclosed left hip labrum tear and hernia tears to my left side but he treated me for bursitis in these areas. Great surgeon highly recommend. Second surgery for knee left first now the right.
Dr. Johnson took over my care as a request for a second opinion. He caused me medical delays and ignored my request for MRI. Another physician ordered MRI and found my pain was due to some muscle tears when Dr. Johnson indicated that my pain was due to authorities. Because I complained, Dr. Johnson "fired me" as a patient. My rating of his care for my injuries is generous. I do not recommend him for any medical treatments.
