I saw Dr Tang for my stomach ailments. He took over for Dr Akashi when she retired. Kaiser tends to have good doctors, but I was impressed with him. He is a wealth of information and is humble. I'm whats known as a difficult patient, but I could see his interaction with me adapt throughout the visit. He sent me a mailed letter and electronic message after the procedure. Office was clean. This guy is a fantastic GI doctor. He performed my colonoscopy, and due to a medical condition of mine, he had to perform it without sedation! I could watch the monitor to see how involved and detailed he was while performing this exam. He told me he performs 1000 colonoscopies a year, and I don't doubt it given how painless it was. He called me the following week and found the cause of my diarrhea - Microscopic Colitis. He explained it so well to me on the phone and the next steps.
