Derek is a true professional. He was fast and efficient with all the shots. Never so fast that it felt rushed, but quick enough not to allow my (anxious) brain to overthink. It was relaxed and collaborative, and the shots turned out better than I could have hoped for. I highly recommend!

Derek has captured our family three times over the past 7 years. It's hard to put in to words what sets one photographer apart from another but I'd say with Derek he gets that moment in time and there's depth and life in his photos. This past year we did a family portrait shoot in our home and I was over the moon with the results, the pictures turned out better than I'd imagined.
