My daughter had seen Dr Chu about a year for acne and she’s thrilled with her progress. Dr Chu is professional and has great bedside manner
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Derek Chu for over 7 years for a chronic condition. My daughter adores him and looks forward to the visits. I find his medical advice responsible and effective. Bedside manner, especially with kids, is amazing and professional.
Dr Chu was wonderful in treating my daughter’s hemangiomas! He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and always answered our questions fully. He was always prompt and professional during appointments. We are so appreciative of him and happy with the treatment outcome!
He was my sons dermatologist. Very arrogant. Doesn’t at all seem interested in seeing patients in person, in fact it’s almost impossible without a huge fuss to get him and his staff to agree to in person appointments. He prescribes stupid amounts of topical steroids for our kid—so much so that his pediatrician threw out the prescription and told us not to take it. My daughter has seen a few dermatologists in her life dealing with eczema for nearly 2 decades. Dr. Chu is very arrogant and does not listen to his patients and does not care. He only wants to prescribe steroids and does not listen at all and is not compassionate. avoid him like the plague. We went to another dermatologist at PAMF and are very happy with her. Stanford is over rated and some of the doctors, like this guy, is stuck up with his head high above his patients.
