I had a storage unit at Der Storage Platz for about 18 months. The facilities are secure, newer, and very clean. Debbie, the General Manager, is always friendly and helpful. She even helped me find a new home for an item I no longer had room for. Great customer service.
Read the contract fully before signing... If your belongings are damaged or destroyed due to rodents or pests, which has happened to me while I have things stored there, it is on you. Der Storage Platz bears no responsibility in the matter per the contract. I have been back to my unit at least once where I was kicking multiple dead rats/mice out of my unit and items are covered in urine and feces, and also, fairly certain my furniture was made a home and bed of based on seeing stuffing littered under the pieces. Der Storage Platz was excellent to work with. Their facilities are top notch, the unit was clean and easily accessible. The staff made renting a unit incredibly easy and they were very flexible with us when we needed to change the dates for moving out of our unit. I can’t recommend them enough if you need a storage unit for any length of time.
This is the worst storage facility that I have ever been to this lady was so unprofessional as we was hooking up the boat for my customer and she came up and asked what we were doing. Told her we were picking up the boat for the Customer and I have the keys here to the lock on the boat as I’m unlocking it and we called the Customer on the phone with the lady and he was telling her it was ok for us to take the boat but she got upset because he was taking his boat and she raced up to the front locked out our access code to whe... read more
