The ER found a bed for my aunt on the 6th floor so she could receive treatment. On the 6th floor, we had an angel of a nurse: Latrice. Latrice stayed calm and peaceful in every situation. She was supportive not only of my aunt, but also SO supportive of me as I navigated some difficult situations. Everyone (but 1; not medical staff) person at DePaul was professional and paid attention to my aunt's care. I would definitely recommend. Not only is the place dirty but they are completely unprofessional. The night nurse unplugged my daughters dialysis machine in the middle of the night and when she tried to tell the morning nurse they said that she had done it. Even though the entire experience was horrible the worst part was that they didn't even have a cap for her port. They told her it was an hour away.
