I’m convinced the republican state government is trying to get people off Medicaid by making the process so awful and impossible that they either can’t get help if there is a problem with their application or they want to kill themself because it’s so infuriating, demeaning, and painful to get support. In 5 years since our kid should have qualified for HMK, I’ve never spoken to a human on the so called helpline. You cannot reach them by phone, you have to go into the office, wait to talk to an receptionist, then you get to maybe get your case taken care of.

The fraud and abuse is coming from the inside, they are committing fraud against their own beneficiaries.
