My family and I were visiting Tuscaloosa for a few days. We ate dinner here and it was really good. The food was great and the portions were large. Our server was attentive and the restaurant had a great atmosphere. We liked that the they served half portions of the pasta dishes for the kids. It is causal Italian style restaurant so it was great for my family as it was pretty loud in the restaurant. If you are looking for a more intimate date night this is probably not your place, but other than that I would recommend.
Best spaghetti and meatballs I’ve ever had. Reminded me of my grandmother’s cooking from childhood. A+++
They don't have the curtesy of telling patrons about the items they ran out. Instead, they feel entitled to substitute without telling you. Regular penne for tri-color, risotto for green beans, it doesn't matter, they decide what you get on your plate that you pay dearly for. The risotto is cooked with wine and they are so insensitive to others' religious beliefs to sub it without asking. The worst part, we asked to talk to the manager he didn't even bother to come! Horrible people altogether!
We were very disappointed the first time we went because our calzone came out raw then it came back completely burnt. Tonight we waited for 1 hour for a chicken Caesar salad a side of meatballs and garlic bread. Waitress wasn’t tentative, we sat for 40 minutes to wait for a table for 2 it was confusing because people who were sat 15-20 minutes after us had already eaten and left.
