RecommendedIf you are looking for effective, quality test prep for your high schooler, they are the best! Both my daughters were tutored by Dan Koken for the ACT (and Emily for math focus) and I cannot recommend them highly enough. One daughter improved by 5 points and the other by 8!!!! I worked with Dan Koken to prepare for the LSAT Flex exam. We utilized Zoom for virtual tutoring sessions, and it was such an easy and effective process. The 1-on-1 attention really allowed for the flexibility and focus I felt I needed to prepare for such a huge exam. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, I had to suddenly shift gears and prepare for the LSAT Flex Exam after the traditional LSAT was rescheduled several times and eventually cancelled. Dan and his team were amazing in preparing my children for the ISEE test! They helped my children improve their test taking skills. They also taught my children math content which was on the test, but that they had not yet learned in school.
My daughter had an extremely positive experience working with Dan and Denver Test Prep at the beginning of her senior year. With his expertise and guidance, she was able to raise her ACT score, which was already high, by 2 points. My son, who is currently a junior, has been working with Dan since last summer. Mr. Koken at Denver Test Prep helped both my sons raise their composite ACT test scores by 2 points allowing them to be eligible for merit scholarships at the colleges they wanted to attend. He is in the process of helping my daughter with both the SAT and ACT, I wouldn't go anywhere else. We live out of state and were able to Skype our sessions with ease thanks to Denver Test Prep's extreme flexibility. Each of my children have different areas they needed help in (reading, math, science) and Dan covered all bases.
Denver Test Prep did an outstanding job helping my daughter achieve a great score on the ACT. The ACT tutoring at Denver Test Prep worked extremely well for me. The company has massive amounts of resources for their students in the form of multiple test books as well as previous tests. These tools allowed me to go into test day with much more confidence and it is showcased in my ACT score. The way my tutor (Dan), figured out my learning style right away also was beneficial to me.
