I'm originally from New Orleans traveling through the area and really enjoyed talking to the friendly staff. Great, clean store with a good selection of Simms apparel, and all your fly fishing needs
I spent 3.5 hours yesterday with Courtney in a 101 class and I loved it! I am a beginner in the truest form and she was so patient with me and answered all my questions. The first two hours were packed with great knowledge about reading water, entomology and how the life stages of bugs relate to where you find them in the water, knots and fish mortality and and and...the list goes on! DFS is my new favorite fly shop! I had a full day guide trip with Courtney and she is THE best! I learned so much and we had a wonderful day on the Dream Stream. I cannot wait to go back out with her and learn more from a fellow female angler!
