Don’t answer the phone? RED FLAG as others have mentioned. The responses from the therapist seemed like they were intentionally trying to make the situation worse. If you need help, I would Go to a professional with a higher education. Or look to Jesus Christ. I’d give 0 stars if I could. Felt like I was talking to a guy off the street vs a professional
I do not recommend Preston. I tried working with him in family therapy after my daughter stopped coming home. She’s 15, and when she asked Preston if he thought going home made sense he said “I don't know.” I get letting the client lead, but that was ridiculous and harmful.
My son went to the intake appointment. They said they would call him in mid-April to schedule an appointment for sessions, however, they never called. His case manager reached out twice. Still never called. Do not recommend this place!
I have had the pleasure of seeing two therapists at DF Therapy. Currently, I am seeing Preston Shelton. In a few short months of consistently seeing Preston, I have begun to understand myself more and find/ explore new methods of healing. Preston is kind, intelligent, and knowledgeable. He has helped me make significant gains in my life. I highly recommend seeing him and making your own gains with his guidance and expertise.
