We enrolled our three children in a two-day horse camp and had high hopes, especially given the cost. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. On the first day, the instructor arrived late and we waited a significant amount of time before camp began. The second day was even more delayed. My 14 year old who loves to ride and do shows completed the week-long camp this past August. She was not challenged nor stimulated at all and getting her to go after the first day was difficult, as she found the exercises and activities extremely slow and boring. She said she spent more time slowly leading the young girls around on their horses by a rope than being in the saddle herself. I had even asked and sent video of my daughter riding, in advance, to inquire if would be a good fit for her. Disappointing waste of money.

Awful customer experience. They canceled my appointment 3 hour before I was meant to be there stating that someone was "sick" and that I would have to reschedule. Keep on mind I booked a day off work to attend this appointment. Then I couldn't talk to an actual person for the rest of the day to rebook even though they text me to cancel. After a full 2 days of being mess around by AI (No one answered the phone either) I was told they had nothing next week and the earliest I could book was 2 weeks away. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at DERS! My daughter and I both take lessons here, and it’s truly a gem.
