It is so good to know there are still people like John in the world. I went in worried that my brilliant cut diamond solitare had chipped on the top and he talked my off my ledge, cleanded the diamond for me and put it under the viewer for a look...no chip! It must have just been a litle dirty. He taught me how to look at the diamond myself and patiently explained what natural inclusions are, and how and where a diamond can chip in case I am ever worried about it again. Had an engagement ring passed down to me without a stone and pretty worn down. They completely refurbished the band and set a stone into it that I already had in my possession, for a totally reasonable price. Couldn't be happier!
