Pelvis fracture lower left and T1 fracture. Was taken there about 5 pm on Friday evening. Had been slowly using a walker at hospital. To late in the day to get accessed. I said i needed to fo to the bathroom. So I was told by an aide, I guess that is what she was, I would have to urinate in the diaper/brief . I ask how quickly it would be changed. She told me sometime in the morning. Sleep in a pissy diaper all night? Well yeah. Told her that was bs. I couldn't get out of bed. Next morning PT came to access me. He helped me ... read more
Excellent experience over the 19 days I was there. Fantastic PT/OT and great food.
Our sweet mom stayed at this facility in Denton after having surgery on her both knees. The nurses were so sweet and welcoming. Nurse Cyrus, Linda, Tera, Eva and many others took care of our mom with great care. The medication and how they monitored her incision was well done. The housekeeper Mardine was always keeping her room clean and she did it joyfully. The dietitian was also helpful and educated mom on proper nutrition. Really enjoyed the food especially the grits 😋. Nightmare!!!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to a dog they treat their patients worst than a dog warning ⚠️ don't send your loved one here it would be a disaster
My family’s experience with Denton Rehab was very disappointing overall. While the Director of Nursing was helpful, many other aspects of the stay fell far below expectations. From day one, several important issues communicated at intake were never addressed. There was no coordination of care between the various doctors, which made it difficult to get consistent information or a clear plan.
