After visiting four different dentists in the Sudbury area who all referred my daughter to an oral surgeon, we decided to see Dr. Alex and his incredible team in Barrie at Dentistry By The Bay, while visiting my parents in Gravenhurst — and I’m so thankful we did. I now understand why this dental team is so highly rated. My wife and I moved from the city and were looking for a new dentist. DBTB was very highly rated and from our initial consult to my recent extraction every aspect of the team has been top notch. Mel and Mekala at the front desk, so nice and professional, April the assistant very knowledgeable and kind, and “Dr Alex” does exceptional work. The care and service was first rate. Excellent staff who did a really good job on my crown. HOWEVER..... Staff should warn clients BEFORE the work gets done that they are going to have to pay extra out of pocket. I was approved for 100 % coverage, but on my first visit to the clinic $100.00 extra was required. This is not fair to seniors on a limited budget. A decent senior's discount would be appropriate. Most companies ofgfer this assistance.

I went in for a braces consultation yesterday and had such a great experience! April was so nice and awesome she made me feel comfortable right away. Dr. Weaver was also amazing, very professional and kind, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I left feeling excited and well taken care of. Highly recommend Dentistry by the Bay!
