I saw Dr Monserrat for a crown and two composite fillings. My experience has not been the greatest from the get-go. During the crown procedure, the dental hygienist was quite rough with the suction tube (pushing forcefully the side of the mouth). The crowned tooth is not in line with the adjacent back tooth and barely contacts the lower tooth. So the bite is lopsided. Also, food gets stuck in between the crown and the tooth in front of it. Best dental experience I've ever had! Though I was in a lot of pain and needed an extraction, Dr. Hoover and her medical assistant, Tay were great in easing my pain and nerves. I was so nervous and even cried. But they made me feel like I was part of their family and talk me down to where I felt so calm. Dr. Hoover was so gentle. Lack of professionalism and coordination, on Sunday, March 3, 2024, make an online appointment. I chose the Dr who accepted my dental insurance and filled out all the dental insurance information he requested. To confirm, I contacted them via phone call on Monday, March 4, and they told me that they did not have the dental insurance information (first red flag).
