I was extremely hopeful for a at least an "okay" experience but even our experience didn't meet such a low expectation. My son has autism and I made dr Roux well aware. When my boy got extremely upset and stressed his suggestion was that they hold him down and while he cries he can check his teeth or we can try in another 6 months or so. I paid $210 for 15 minutes of cleaning/exam/mouth rinse. The quickest “clean” and exam I’ve ever had! Not even a polish! I’m unsure if that’s the norm here in Australia but wow. No wonder Australians don’t have the best smiles. Where I’m from the dental hygienist does the cleaning and spends at least 15 minutes alone cleaning. And it’s safe to say you’ll be there for at least 30min to an hour. It was a clean facility and staff were really nice.
I’ve only had great experiences at Dentist @ Health. Dr Roux and the team are always very professional and friendly and I always feel my care is a priority.
Dentist was quite arrogant and unprofessional from the start. When he couldn’t remove my Invisalign’s, I removed them myself and he huffed at me. Then he was getting frustrated when I wouldn’t tell him exactly what to do which was the whole reason why I was there, to get advice and follow orthodontist instructions. After a while I asked what the referral letter from the orthodontist said and he stood up in a huff, snatched the bib and the glasses of my lap and told me to find another dentist.
