The staff at the West Covina location are excellent and well trained. I was very pleased to find that the prices were affordable without insurance and that they utilize high quality technology to assist in diagnosis and treatment. I went in on a minor emergency and was treated the same day. Richard the hygienist is the best and was able to help even though I am quite resistant to the numbing medication, he was able to administer the right amount when others were not. I went in for an appointment for my wisdom tooth pain, i wasn’t expecting to get it pulled the same day but Got my tooth pulled, deep teeth cleaning, staff was awesome! I didnt Feel a thing except some pressure. Doctor Richard and his assistant was amazing! He reassured me the whole time. Was very quick and painless. They gave me a great price i would 1000% recommend this dentist office for any of your oral needs i cant Thank them enough!
This place is a scam. A dentist that I trust told me that HMO insurance plans don't pay the dentist much so they make up charges. I've experienced this in a few different cities now. First, dentist of West Covina charged me $20. Then the nurse took me back and took around 10 very uncomfortable x-rays and she messed up a few of them and had to redo them. Then Dr. Kang came in and poked a couple of my teeth for no more than 3 min and told me that I had 3 cavities. He just pointed to some areas in shadow on the xray and claimed... read more
The staff was highly profession. The environment was fully equipped and high tech.. The X-ray process was very fast compared to the old days. But I wish I could say they deserve only 4 stars because they refused to give me anything stronger for the severe pain of surgery; ibuprofen. You can't imagine the horror when I realized they weren't going to help as the Novocaine wore out. This NOT a reflection on this place though.
