This insurance company is a joke. They approved a cap for my tooth. Then halfway through the procedure they were no longer going to pay for it so for 4 months I've had a temporary cap in my mouth cuz my dentist won't finish the cap cuz the insurance company is refusing to pay for it after initially approving it. If you can stay away from this company do. It's like any other insurance company, a SCAM.
Expect to wait atleast 15 mins on hold. You also can’t make a portal for anyone under 18 so you can’t make payments online. Won’t take them over the phone. Only option is to mail in payments
Clearly they don't care about the well being of your teeth when they deny service requests from the dentist who says the tooth needs to come out. This was also recommended in Emergency Room by the doctor that gave me antibiotics for the abscess on my tooth. To sum this up I will be changing my Blue Cross Community Healthcare provider to one of their competitors!!
This insurance is useless. No one accepts them, and they continue to secretly bill you even after you’ve seemingly switched coverage.
This is by far the WORST insurance provider I have had the unfortunate experience of working with. Their website lists inaccurate information. In addition their internal systems do not reflect the same information that their customer systems show. I was misinformed about a provider being in my network and ended up being saddled with a bill for a couple hundred dollars and hours wasted disputing this matter. Very poorly trained customer service agents … I only wish that I could give them a minus zero rating ..
