The dentist informed me that I needed a deep cleaning—even though she had supposedly performed one during the first visit. There was a lack of clarity regarding the copay, and the communication about insurance coverage was inconsistent. My first visit with Dental Sunshine was successful. The receptionist/staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Crisostomo was thorough, clearly describing the results of my first examination and her recommended treatment plan for my on-going dental care. This place is a scam. Period. I found this office through ZocDoc because it was conveniently located. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The clinic itself didn’t leave a good first impression. While I’m understanding that staff may be in training, the overall environment felt unprofessional. What’s more concerning, though, is the business side of this operation—it’s extremely questionable.
