Alan Bernales is a godsend. Seriously. When we realized that our mother with dementia needed dental care we had no idea what to do. The prospect of moving her from her care facility, with her social sensitivity and all the complexities of dementia, to have her painful and decayed teeth prodded at, seemed unfathomable and overwhelming.
