I would have appreciated a phone call from the practice informing me that Dr Bertini was not going to be there at the time of the exam. It would have given me a choice whether I wanted to reschedule the appt. The practice does an excellent job reminding patients of their appointments. I feel the patient needs to be informed if their dentist will not be there at the time of their exam.
I always have a great experience at this office. My cleaning appointment was right on time and Ania did a wonderful job with my cleaning.

Too many email/text reminders (though someone else walked in to the waiting room and said the opposite!). I made an appt for 6 months later - and before I got home I already had both email/text reminders for the next appt.
People are friendly. Very important to be treated like a person, like a good customer.
