What insurance would DENY a crown for a tooth that had a root canal? OBSURD
Called 3 different numbers and sat on hold for an hour and a half total. An hour in I spoke to an actual person that didn’t know how to help so 2 other people hopped on the call just to tell me they didn’t know how to help either. I will be cancelling this dental insurance during open enrollment or I’ll stop paying my premium if they don’t cover my claim for a routine cleaning at a dentist they sent me to. No dentist in network able to perform root canals in a city the size of San Antonio! 2 million people, and not one dentist is in network to provide root canals!?! I have this plan thru my main health insurance, Devoted. They were supposed to do a special request called a RAD on 08/22/2022, but did not, because Devoted is ending their contract on 10/01/2022.
