We were waiting to be seated at Denny's on Memorial day. The staff was extremely slow. Finally a waitress came to seat us but said a table needed to be cleaned. Yet there was a booth down further ready for someone to sit at. Another waitress then seated the people behind us at the booth that was cleaned while we were still waiting.
