While travelling, we had an oil change service performed at Rushmore Honda on Oct 1. See the first photo for an image of that service ticket. We completed our travels of about 1,800 miles and returned home Oct 8. The next day I observed a 10-inch puddle of oil under the vehicle, see the second photo, and contacted our local Honda shop for an inspection. Jerid M in the service department took care of my daughter like she was his own! It can be intimidating being a twenty something and needing car repairs. Jerid made it as smooth as he could and got her back in her CRV quick! Very helpful and kind!
Sent my wife to the Honda Ridgeline appointment. When she returned, she had the work order/bill, but no courtesy check information. I called the service rep back and he said it would come via email. That was 12 days ago. So far, all I got in the email is another copy of the work order/bill. I guess I cannot send the wife to Honda for service in Rapid City. Everywhere else they take good care of her. I checked it over and did not find anything amiss, but I have no idea what they might have checked/found.
Really sad place to have any service done. $169.95 an hr. just to have an analyst done to tell you whats wrong with there product...... This place doesn't make you want to own a Honda.
I bought my car a 2020 Honda Civic hatchback in 2023 and had an awesome experience. Because of the warranty I’ve had paintless dents fixed, as well as a windshield. Absolutely loved the experience. The service department however is a joke. I took my car in for a fuel pump recall that I never received any information on, and wasn’t told that I needed to have the gas tank at less than 1/4 tank.
