My husband fell off of a ladder and Dr. Andersen came highly recommended. He dislocated his shoulder and broke a finger and tore up two other finger on the other hand. He told us his accident was non-surgical. We had to try and pull answers out of him and even then we would get answers like "I can't tell you when you won't have that pain, be patient." Had a 30 minute hand surgery done by DR. Anderson. Tried to charge me $21,000. Had to call 3/4 times and nobody could figure out the charges until the 4th person. Sent it to review and ended up only being $5k for the surgery. Be careful as they will overcharge you unless you complain multiple times to his office.
I was brought to Dr.Anderson on 3rd shift.He operated in the morning.When I woke up,he showed me that he had reconnected my tendons on my fingers.Instead of waiting a week to start PT,I realized I couldn't follow orders. By 1week I was moving my fingers 60times per minute. Dr was amazed I already had so much range.If you know ahead of time that he's going to yell at you, and you'll be healed in 3months;he's great. If you want to be babied, go to Froedtert.
Do not recommend him. He is very demeaning. Acts like you are a little child. I had xrays done and he didn't even pull them up to let me see what was going on. I was going to ask him to pull the x-rays up but he seemed way too botherered. Wont be going to him again and do not recommend.
