If you’re in the market for an amazing parrot store, I highly recommend checking out Denise’s Parrot Place on Mercer Island. Birds are fed a stellar diet. Their macaws were eating beans and other fresh foods, a complete opposite diet from what birds are eating at Midway Tropical. They sell high quality food, toys and perches. The staff is knowledgeable and kind. If it’s our of your way, trust me when I say it’s worth it. They sell brands like Harrison’s, Roudybush and even have their own food mixes. 10/10 recommend.
This is a reputable place to buy a parrot. They obviously care about what they're doing but a few things to keep in mind. 1) They're not cheap. 2) You're not going to just walk in and out with a bird. These are actions of a reputable dealer and I consider them trustworthy. That said, they don't provide vet records and you only have 72 hours to make sure your bird is sound. But we are very happy with the outcome and we love our Amazon.

Active breeders of parrots only add to the OVERSATURATED & NUMEROUS parrot rescue organizations in the Seattle-Tacoma area. "Adopt, don't shop" should be the mantra for all pet owners & enthusiasts!
RecommendedMy husband and I were initially just so happy to find such a clean place, healthy birds....and then Hugh talked with us....wealth of information, and it was a relief to see healthy birds, and a support system there....we left, feeling more confident..... we ended up knowing our eclectus actually picked us after we took several days to think through, etc... They sold me a sick bird(bacterial infection) and cost me a lot for the vet.Manager told me he eats pellet but he only eats seeds and hates most vegetables unlike other cockatiels I have.
