Our family highly recommends Dr Wolken. She has provided great care and has always taken our concerns seriously. She does not hesitate to investigate concerns or refer to specialities if needed. Additionally her office is great about scheduling and it’s very easy to get seen when needed.
We had a bad experience with Dr. Wolken. To start the visit, Dr. Wolken felt the need to assure me that I "wasn't a bad parent" because our child is a bit of a picky eater at times. This rubbed me the wrong way. The second offense was clicking at my child like a horse to get their attention while checking their eyes. The third, and worst offense was going on a political rant about HHS. I did not share my political viewpoint with this doctor, but she took it upon herself to share hers. My wife and I have been with Dr. Wolken since WE were toddlers and now our two children are with her and have been since birth! As a provider and a person- she goes unmatched! She is gentle but direct, knowledgeable but humble and is the best advocate for both the child and their parents! She is ALWAYS there to provide care and guidance for your little! ♥️
Unfortunately we did not have the best experience with this office. We were hopeful because of the reviews but do not believe everything on the Internet I guess. Not only did we always leave the office more confused, unsure of next steps and feeling like Denise wasn't even confident. She miss diagnosed my son twice and just always gave us what we feel was the run around and nothing substantial. Everyone was very nice and professional but there were just too many red flags.
