I don’t think I’d grow into the person I am today if it wasn’t for the years of seeing Denise as my therapist and getting down to the bottom of some deep rooted pain. She’s phenomenal at what she does with how she supports you and I appreciated her flexibility during the pandemic of allowing me to be in my zone with digital meetings :)
Denise is warm and caring and has been an enormous source of support and understanding throughout a number of my life changes. My experience with her EMDR treatments has helped me reconcile many facets of my past in a safe environment. I definitely recommend her.
I'm staring at the one-star review with my mouth agape, not comprehending this patient's experience at all. I don't want to negate or invalidate their pain, but I'm wondering if it was misplaced or if they were in a bad place when they wrote it. While there's no such thing as a perfect therapist/psychologist, Denise has proven herself time and again to be an incredible resource not just to me but my family (she was my mom's therapist for awhile). Denise is cold, unempathetic and critical. Do not use her services, find someone else. She is a judgmental person and is likely to insult you as you open up to her. Wordt therapy experience ever!!!!
