Dr Brown went above and beyond to work with insurance to get a hernia surgery approved and scheduled. The insurance kept giving us the run around. Dr Brown was so caring, checking in with me later in the day and even met me at her office on her day off. I was shocked when I got my insurance claim and saw how little she got paid after they reduce the fees to their contracted amounts. This is state (Obama care) insurance. I'm a 47year old male and started bleeding from my right nipple in 2/2019 after 3 surgeons wrongfully determining what I had. I found Dr. Brown on November 2022, I called her and she told me she knew what I had and was going through. She scheduled me for Surgery on January 2023 and came back Positive for DCIS. She referred me to a great oncologist Colleague Dr. Mario Curti and decided it was best to have Dr. Brown do me a double mastectomy. Thank God everything came back clear of Cancer. I was charged $150 for a procedure. I called my insurance and they over $400 and shared I should only paid a copay of $30. They are refusing to reimburse me. I do not recommend this office. The scare is also terrible and wish I never went to this office.
Even my GP recommended her. He said he would want her to do general surgeries on him.
Dr Brown had removed my hernia this past week. my recovery has been very fast and I have little to no pain. from the time I first met Dr. Brown I have been impressed on how she has explained my condition and the next steps for surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Brown. Also the Los Al medical center staff were great and very supportive. many thx!
She’s my surgeon and I had surgery February 14, 2018 and shee was very attentive with me each time I saw her in the office !!! IShe is very awesome and I’ll continue to see her with any treatment that I may have

Beginning from my admittance to the Long Beach community hospital for my appendices surgery, she treated me like my mother. She made me feel comforted. She knows well how to treat her patients. Though it is her job, I want to thank her for all she did for me.
