Going to the doctor can be scary. Lucky for me I see Dr. Rodney and my worries go away because I know I'm getting the care I need.
I went to her with specific problems, but she seemed to want to schedule lots of tests, rather than concentrate on the problems I'd mentioned. She didn't even look at the results until I came back for another appointment, and then only skimmed through some (but not all) of them. I refused more tests until my original problems are dealt with, and that seemed to upset her even more. I'm looking for a new primary care physician now.
Dr Rodney takes time to understand what is going on with you after her very efficient staff takes your vitals and major complaint. She is thorough and knowledgeable and best of all personable. I feel taken care of when I go.
She is great. Tells you how it is. Pulls no punches. The staff is friendly and attentive. Wonderful folks. If you are a dope fiend looking to score you might as well look elsewhere. Dr. Rodney does not play that game. Not only do I come here, but also bring my daughter here as well. That ought to tell you enough right there.
Dr. Rodney doesn't seem to care about her patients at all. She doesn't listen to what you're telling her and doesn't listen to what you want. After several different brands of the pill failed to regulate my period and the shot made me gain weight, I wanted a different birth control. She refused to prescribe the birth control I wanted and told me that if I really wanted it, to go somewhere else. Also, she seems uninterested and only wants to move on to the next patient.
