Dr Carneiro Plia did my surgery on July 28,2021. She did an amazing job. From our initial meeting to the present she answered all of my questions and put me at ease, I would highly recommend her for thyroidectomy.
This doctor is something else....Not only did she NOT complete the ultrasound, she literally sent me out into the hallway with no medication, no plan, and nothing for my severely enlarged thyroid, and the problems I have been experiencing with hypercalcemia and many other symptoms. The simple fact she did not complete anything, she left me in tears, but the worst part is now she's trying to bill me for an incomplete visit!!!! I was scared honestly but Dr. Carneiro-Pla is a doctor I would recommend. She has a smile that made the upside down feeling go away. Very knowledgeable, explained things,even stressed the cons and pros Gave me much to think about and I'm thankful for seeing her, Glad she is the recommended surgeon, after meeting her, I see why. She's awesome.
She did my thyroidectomy in July of 2019 and I must say she is a top notch surgeon
