We've been patients (family!) of the Den Herder Hospital for over 15 years, when we first came in with our parrot and now a succession of several dogs. Every single one of our pets has been so well-cared for and I wouldn't dream of going any where else. Dr kealie went above and beyond to call and check to see how my dog was doing. They are all amazing! I can’t say enough good things about them. My dog was sick for about a month and our previous vet was overlooking things so I was referred by a friend to go to den herder and within a few hours she figured out the problem and my dog is back to herself within days of getting the right care and medication! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
I am so blessed to have this vet nearby! Dr. Lori attended my sick cockatiel and put her on antibiotics. I received a couple of calls from Dr. Lori checking up on how Piper was doing. It is nice to have found someone that specializes in avian medicine and is compassionate too! Thank you, Dr. Lori!
I will never take my dog to another vet other than Den Herder. Everyone is so nice and understanding there! I took my (very big) great pyrenees puppy to get her fixed, dewclaws removed, microchipped and all of her shots done. Before I set the appointment, the receptionist pulled together a full quote and fax it to me with two different pricing scenarios (high and low). After the surgery they let me come check on her and understood that I was a new dog mom and just wanted to see her. I absolutely love this place!
I had just moved to the area and I was hesitant to take my dog to a new vet. My dog ended up getting an bacterial infection in her ear, and I decided I would pick a vet in the Waterloo area. I decided to go to Den Herder because I had heard good things. Those good things were completely true! I am so glad I was able to take my dog to Den Herder!
