Called for an appt three days and told Just told to come to pick up ankle support. I had questions and wanted yo know about follow up . Saw dr in hallway and he said I dont have time for u ??? Excuse me I'm a patient who just paid over 600 dollars I'm a patient .
Dr. Demoleas is a very good podiatrist and a kind person. His office attendant, however, needs more training or to be replaced. An 81 y.o. patient of the practice with numerous medical conditions that put him at the highest risk if infected with Covid-19 didn't have cash to pay the $20 copay (Which practice in NY 2020 and during a pandemic does not accept credit card!!!). I went to Dr. Demoleas with a very painful left foot, probably the result of weeks of walking miles barefoot on beach sand. The doctor gave me 2 choices, bind it with tape to keep it flat, or cortisone injection. I leaned toward the injection, he recommended trying the binding first and if it did not work, get the injection. Incredibly, as soon as I put my foot down from his chair I felt an immense relief, no pain. I went back for follow up one week later, painfree.
