Beth Dunoff was an amazing instructor. She took the time to make sure I understood the material and answered all my questions with patience and kindness! This was an excellent course, and she gave me the tools and confidence to work with my patients who suffer from dementia.
The Dementia Connection Institute offers training that caregivers, not only in facilities, but family and in-home caregivers can use. Backed by science, and evidence-based studies on non-pharmacological interventions, these techniques are easy to learn, and easy to implement into care. They are calming, reassuring, and gentle for both the caregiver and the person with Dementia. I recommend anyone who works with people with Dementia take this training.
