We love Demarest Farms, especially when they do their wine tasting! I wish it was only open for those partaking in the wine festival. There were way too many non-wine drinkers just hanging out and looking at the animals.

The wine tasting event was great. The downside was parking. Last year I fainted on my way back to the car which was up the steps and a couple of blocks into a neighborhood.

I went yesterday for the Wine tasting event. Had to park blocks away because the lot was filled. Was very surprised at how many kids were running around during the wine tasting.. Not such a good idea .. walking around with glass wine glasses in our hands because we got bumped a few times by some kids that were left unintended by parents. Also found that the people working.. pouring the wine, were actually pretty rude. I did enjoy the tasting.. what little we could get to. So defiently will Go to another tasting again. Peaches were good, however, once you buy a bag there is no way to return it. We bought 3 bags so the kids could go around and pick on their own. When we were done we had 1.5 bags, wanted to return one ($10!) but were told that it wasn't returnable. So we paid $30 for a. Ha and a half of peaches. Donuts are good there, don't buy potato pancakes though.
