Service engine light was on so i took it in after Onstar said it was a cooling issue. They replaced the thermostat and several days later it was back on. Again they said it was thermostat. Again several days later back on. Then they claimed it was the fan clutch and replaced after trying to charge $497 for the part that was $199 at autozone. To replace a single bad ignition coil on my maxima (with parts and labor) demaagd quoted me a fee of OVER SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS! I found it odd that demaagd wanted to replace all six ignition coils even though only one was bad. I had no idea what an "ignition coil" was until i looked it up online. I learned 2 things: (A) I did not need to replace all six coils as demaagd would have liked and (B) the procedure of replacing a coil was easier than replacing a simple spark plug In the end I chose not to rely on demaagd and paid ... read more
