This review is incredibly painful to write. My mother dedicated 15 years of her life to this care home as a cook and dietary aide when it was owned by the Devji family, before she retired in 2008. I also worked in their accounting office for a year in 1998-1999. Back then, it was a warm, inviting place where residents were treated with dignity and staff took pride in their work. It's fine. Food for residents is bland as hell and there is lots of staff turnover. Family feels safe there but with all the turnover you need to stay in top of issues. Location is neat but isolated.
Sharen Bal is completely unprofessional, this facility is terrible and does NOT care for residents. My grandmother was here and often cared for by Sharen who I spoke to on numerous occasions, she is rude and condescending and has 0 knowledge or compassion.
