Techs were completely unprofessional, ruthless, and barely trained. The charge nurses and a couple of other nurses seemed to care and were helpful where some nurses were clearly there just for a paycheck. Nurses and techs never seemed to follow the same rules. The social workers and the patient advocate were the only ones that seemed to care if patients were being treated at all. My doctor was useless.
PLEASE DO NOT SEND A LOVED ONE HERE!!! We were trying to get our LO with dementia some help with medication and coping skills (took her to the er in hopes that they would send her to a certain facility...definitely not here) but that was NOT what she received from this place!!! She came out MUCH MUCH MUCH WORSE and without any of the stuff that she was sent there with!!! She did come back with 1 tshirt, 1 pajama outfit and the shoes that were hers, but not other 3 outfits and 2 pair of pajamas that was sent!! We didnt get to... read more
Delta Specialty is a great place to find hope, compassion, and treatment. During my recent visit to an event, the staff was super kind and friendly. The business development Director, Rosalind House, was very cordial, friendly, and knowledgeable. She welcomed every individual she saw with kind words and a huge smile! She made me feel extremely comfortable in an otherwise uncomfortable environment.
I was transferred to this facility for mental health concerns. So I had no choice but to stay. I mostly interacted with the techs and nurses, which the majority were kind and supportive. However, I did find some of their behavior inappropriate - foul language, constantly on their personal cell phones, etc. I did not experience this with all the staff, but most.
