One year ago today, I got what I thought was the worst news imaginablemy mom's long term care facility which was just a ten minute walk from my home was closing. I thought my world was ending. I spent hours each day for the next few weeks interviewing and touring new long term care facilities hoping to find a good new home for my mom.
