Dr Wain came well recommended. However, I ended up feeling disappointed with the service offered. 1) Too much time spent on form filling out rather than face-to-face patient-doctor communication. Practice nurse then communicated my information to the specialist as though I wasn’t in the room. 2) After consulting the Medicare website, I am of the opinion that this practice overcharges. I wanted to call make an appointment by phone the woman who answered was not friendly and Didn't want to help me
I was absolutely dreading this appointment, but turns out that was without cause. Shara, the nurse, was so lovely and really just made me feel like I was sitting down for a chat with a friend. She put me at ease straight away. Dr. Wain was professional, knowledgeable, and empowering. I’m grateful for your care - thank you both so much.
I attended Delta Dermatology on the 30th July and had a terrible experience. I went here hopeful and instead I walked out in tears. So much repetitive paperwork only to be asked the same questions by the nurse, who then gave unsolicited advice about medications i was on unrelated to dermatology. They made me feel like a burden because my concerns and issues on the day weren't in the booking notes.
